Ladakh, often called the “Land of High Passes,” is a breathtaking Union Territory in northern India, nestled between the Kunlun Mountains and the main Great Himalayas.It is a high-altitude cold desert characterized by dramatic, barren mountains, deep valleys, and stunningly vibrant alpine lakes like Pangong Tso and Tso Moriri.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Rest
  • Arrive at Leh Airport (11,500 ft). Strict rest all day. Drink plenty of water and avoid overexertion.Evening stroll in Leh Market.

  • 09:00 AM: Pathar Sahib Gurudwara.

  • 11:00 AM: Magnetic Hill.

  • 12:30 PM: Sangam Point (Indus & Zanskar confluence).

  • 03:00 PM: Leh Palace. 05:30 PM: Sunset at Shanti Stupa.

  • 08:00 AM: Depart for Nubra via Khardung La.

  • 01:00 PM: Visit Diskit Monastery.

  • 04:00 PM: Hunder Sand Dunes (Camel Safari). Overnight in Nubra.

  • 09:00 AM: Depart for Pangong Lake via Shyok route.

  • 02:00 PM: Arrive at Pangong Tso. Evening at the lake. Overnight in lakeside camp.

  • 08:00 AM: Sunrise at Pangong.

  • 09:30 AM: Depart for Leh via Chang La.

  • 02:00 PM: Thiksey Monastery.

  • 04:00 PM: Shey Palace. Evening free in Leh.

  • Early morning transfer to Leh Airport for your return flight.

         What the Tourist Gets

    • Accommodation: 5 nights stay in handpicked premium hotels, heritage properties, or luxury campsites (typically 3 nights in Leh, 1 in Nubra Valley, and 1 at Pangong Lake).

    • Daily Meals: Buffet breakfast and dinner are usually included at your hotels and campsites to keep your energy up for the high-altitude travel.

    • Private Transport: A dedicated, air-conditioned vehicle (like an Innova, Xylo, or Scorpio) for all 6 days, covering airport transfers and all listed sightseeing.

    • Travel to Ladakh: Flights or train tickets to/from Leh are not part of the package.

    • Monument Entry Fees: Tickets for museums, palaces, and monasteries are paid directly at the gate.

    • Optional Activities: Camel rides at Hunder, ATV rides, or river rafting.

    • Lunches: While breakfast and dinner are covered, midday meals are usually at your own expense at local cafes.

    • Personal Gear: Rental of heavy jackets or specialized trekking gear if needed.
